Four dead, five wounded in St. Louis, Missouri Shooting Spree

The shooting rampage which started at 6:30 AM this morning at the ABB factory ,ended with the shooter dead.

There are now at least four people dead in the work place shooting, including the gunman, who killed himself. At least five others were wounded. Three of the wounded were listed in critical condition, and two in fair condition, authorities reported.

The shooting occurred around 6:30 AM during a shift change. According to reports There were between 40 to 50 people in the factory at the time. Timothy Hendron, an employee of the company ABB, has been identified as the shooter. He is reportedly a long-time employee of the company, working there for 23 years.

It has been reported that in 2006, Timothy Hendron and other ABB workers sued the company over losses in their 401K plans. The lawsuit claimed the compaqny ABB had unreasonable, excessive, and undisclosed fees and expenses and suit went to trial Tuesday in Kansas City.

Thomas Schmidt, an ABB corporate spokesman in Zurich, Switzerland, where the company is based, said the following in statement released Thursday: "This is obviously a very serious situation and we are working to gather more information as it becomes available. The welfare of our employees is of utmost importance to us."

A tragic event, and unfortunately all too frequent. With easy access to firearms, one someone snaps they can destroy many other lives all too easily :(
